Susan began her teaching career in 1999 at Reeves Golf Club in Cincinnati, Ohio. She relocated to Sarasota in 2000 and served as an Assistant Golf Professional at TPC Prestancia until 2004. She has been at Stoneybrook Golf and Country Club since 2004. Susan spent 2 summer seasons (2012 & 2013) in Vermont as a Golf Instructor at the Stratton Mountain Golf School.
Susan returned to the Green Mountain State the summer of 2019 to serve as a Seasonal Golf Professional at Dorset Field Club in Dorset, Vermont. This is where you will find her the months of May-October.
Susan became a member of the PGA of America in 2015. She has been a member of the LPGA Teaching and Club Professionals since 1999.
Susan has a thorough understanding of every aspect of the game of golf. She is sought after because of her ability to communicate her knowledge in a language that is easily understood by golfers of all ability levels. She uses numerous training aids and video technology to help speed the learning process which students appreciate.
Susan is also an experienced club fitter, using a FlightScope launch monitor to help golfers maximize their playing potential with properly fit equipment.
A formidable player, Susan competed on the Futures Tour between 2003 and 2005. Most recently, Susan won the Challenge Division of the 2014, 2015 and 2016 LPGA Teaching and Club Professional National Championship. She continues to play and compete in countless LPGA T&CP events, and PGA Chapter and Section Events.
Susan earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Studies from Lander University in Greenwood, South Carolina. She is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio. When she is not holding a club she is casting a fishing rod from her kayak or exploring the many hiking trails in Vermont!
